I’m 51 and work in the aerospace manufacturing industry in Ontario. The way my teeth looked always bothered me. My eyeteeth were out of position; one tooth was behind another one instead of being alongside, that sort of thing.

My appearance definitely affected me. I always shied away when someone was taking my picture. It certainly didn’t feel good. This problem was deep seated in my mind. I felt I couldn’t look my best and that thought was always there. I’m sure I acted normally but it was always on my mind.

I wear Invisalign’s little plastic aligners all the time except when I’m eating or drinking coffee and nobody has ever noticed I’m wearing them. Certainly nobody has said anything negative. I wear the aligners all the time, all day long. I wear them at work. I talk, smile, I wear them when I sleep and they never keep me awake.

“It Really Works, It’s Totally Painless.”

I want to tell you again, Dr. Kamel’s great and his process has been excellent — very easy and completely painless. Within the first two weeks I could tell my teeth were moving in the right direction.

Invisalign really works. I’ve been doing this for about six months — that’s about halfway through my treatment plan and they are definitely moving my teeth. But it’s not painful at all. I can tell they’re moving my teeth because my bite is different.

Dr. Kamel gave me 24 different sets of aligners and I wear each set for two weeks. The sets are graduated and each set moves my teeth a little bit more. I’m up to set 10 or 11. I can tell I’m wearing them but they don’t cause any pain and I got used to wearing them quickly.

“I Thought I Was Too Old.”

I thought I might be too old to have my teeth straightened but Dr. Kamel told me he’s treating people well into their 70’s. I can tell you invisalign dentist Dr. Kamel and his staff are fantastic. They’re really A#1 professional; awesome. They treat you like a real human being and really care about you and the results you’re getting. They’ve treated me very well. They’re excellent people to work with.

I’m really happy. I’d say I’m a 10 — I’m up in the clouds about my results. I didn’t want metal braces at 51 but I didn’t want to live with my teeth the way they were. I’m very thankful I found this opportunity.

All my appointments are included and it’s all very affordable.

A smile is important. It makes a first impression and I look forward to having a perfect smile. I know that it will give personal confidence. I’ll feel good about myself and my appearance and that really means something.
